This site does exactly one thing: it converts files between formats — quickly, for free, and entirely inside your browser. No accounts, no watermarks, no upload queues.

Why "local" matters

Most online converters work by uploading your file to their server, converting it there, and handing it back. That means your file crosses the internet, sits on someone else's disk, and is subject to their retention policy. For a meme that is fine; for a scan of your passport, a contract or a private photo, it is not. We took the other path: the converter code is downloaded to your browser once, and the conversion runs on your hardware. The file never leaves the building, because your device is the building.
